Galatasaray are ready to test Bordeaux's resolve to keep star striker Marouane Chamakh.
The Morocco international has a clutch of suitors across Europe, with Turkish giants Galatasaray the latest to be nominated as bidders.
Reports suggest that Gala have offered €18 million for the 21-year-old, who scored 10 goals in Ligue 1 during the past season.
That sum is likely to test the mettle of the Bordeaux top brass, who are aware that Chamakh is unsettled at the club.
Bordeaux chairman Jean-Louis Triaud has previously stressed that Chamakh, like team-mate Rio Mavuba, is not for sale.
But Triaud may be forced to seriously consider Gala's offer on the back of Chamakh's comments this week that he would like to quit Les Girondins.
Ajax, Internazionale and Marseille have all been watching the young African, while the player himself fancies a move to champions Lyon.
